Allianz UK is proud to be an official partner of the team and the British Paralympic Association
In the UK
At Allianz, we’re proud to sponsor ParalympicsGB. The British Paralympic Association has a vision to inspire a better world for disabled people through sport and we’re excited to be supporting them in that ambition. The GB team is one of the strongest and fits well with our other sponsorship of sporting champions, such as Saracens and Lewis Hamilton.
But this is about more than sponsorship for us – it inspires us to keep improving our offering as the insurer of choice to a broad community, both as an employer and through our products.
In 2016, we’re working with five ParalympicsGB Allianz ambassadors – Hannah Cockroft (T34 wheelchair racing), Will Bayley (table tennis), Libby Clegg (T11 sprinting), Natasha Baker (equestrian) and Pam Relph (rowing). We hope that our employees will get a better understanding of disability, as well as being inspired to change their own mindset to succeed, by engaging with our ambassadors.

Dare to Believe
With just months to go to Rio, the build-up on Channel 4 is really stepping up. As the broadcast sponsor of all the Paralympic coverage in 2016, you’ll already have seen our Allianz brand appearing increasingly across TV. But you’ll be starting to see it a lot more as the Games approach.
This week, Channel 4 is launching a series of short programmes, produced with Allianz, about seven different para athletes. These 90 second stories will focus on their Dare to Believe moment, which will tie into the sponsorship adverts we’re producing for the coverage. You can see the videos here.
You can also watch the following videos to learn more about some of the athletes.
